In our first panel, SKY, we continue looking up. How can we slow down to see what we’ve been missing? How can we widen our view? These are meditative and philosophical reflections on clouds, space, climate and how to reinvent the art of science documentaries, from independent producers to commissioners perspectives.

Jessica Harrop is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning documentary filmmaker who has dedicated her career to inspiring passion about science through film. She is the head of Sandbox Films, where she leads all project decisions and company strategy and acts as an executive producer for Sandbox Films documentaries.

Marius Lena

Director, France

Marius Léna is a french filmmaker. He navigates between medias, working as a script consultant for Studiocanal, a theater stage manager, a writer and director. He’s constantly on the lookout for new narrative forms and questions his generation’s disillusioned relationship with the future.

With a robust foundation in scientific journalism and over 15 years of experience in media, I currently serve as a Commissioning Editor for documentaries at ARTE.
